A unique experience

A unique experience

simplicity, care
and respect

Sleeping in a mountain hut is a unique experience. It’s not just about spending the night—it’s about sharing the mountain, its rhythms, its silence, its glowing sunsets, and maybe a card game after dinner.

At Rifugio Venezia we welcome every guest with simplicity, care and respect. Rooms are basic but warm, perfect for real rest after a day on the trails. No luxury—just warm blankets, duvets, and maybe a window with Monte Pelmo
peeking through.

At 1,947 meters, comfort requires a bit of mountain spirit. But that’s exactly what makes every night up here feel like freedom.

The bivouac

The bivouac is next to Rifugio Venezia and managed by the hut.

In summer, the bivouac is used for guests with dogs or as extra space (10 beds) when the hut is full.

In winter it is always open and accessible. Inside you will find available blankets available, but bring a sleeping bag for better insulation. In case of snow, the entrance may be covered: keeping a small shovel is advised. We leave one available, but it may be brought inside and not accessible from outside.

Experience the mountains

A refuge is not just a roof, it’s part of a network of people, experiences, and care. Here you’ll find useful information for your mountain hikes and your visit to our Rifugio Venezia.
